Later in his career, he had the opportunity to work for ASX listed corporation Melbourne IT Group.
At Melbourne IT, he managed the Google marketing for MIT’s multiple brands such as Netregistry, Web Central, TPP Wholesale and many other Australian web-based brands. During that time he was able to achieve amazing growth in traffic, leads and sales for the brands, and he also had the privilege of teaching business owners/ IT officers at monthly digital marketing courses and also speaking at the Melbourne Small Business festivals.
Because of Benjamin’s passion for helping businesses, he decided to take a step of faith and founded Top Hat Media. He now has the honour of working with a select group of growing businesses from around Australia. Benjamin’s focus at Top Hat Media is always honesty, hard work and being dedicated to getting businesses RESULTS!

In sharing a similar vision, Benjamin partnered with Daniel Piltz (Partner & Director) and their affinity with helping businesses has turned the team at Top Hat Media into a passionate group of results-driven marketers.
Daniel’s education/trade was first in Property Valuation, and he has worked as a certified AAPI CPV Property Valuer for all major Aust. banks. Daniel later found his passion in digital marketing and in developing unique techniques for business growth which has produced results on a national level.
After joining Top Hat Media Daniel has helped many businesses via effective Digital Marketing Strategies which connect business to business, providing a conversational marketing opportunity with the end goal being to WIN WORK and GROW businesses. Daniel has implemented these technologies and they have a proven track record to work.


Project Manager & Client Relations Bea Francio
As the Client Relations Manager at Top Hat Media, I lead our client engagement efforts, serving as the primary liaison between our creative team and a diverse portfolio of brands and businesses. My role centers on building and maintaining strong, strategic partnerships by ensuring that our clients’ needs are understood, anticipated, and exceeded throughout every stage of a campaign or project.
I collaborate closely with internal departments—creative, production, and digital—to translate client goals into effective content and marketing strategies. Whether managing multi-platform digital campaigns or branded video productions, I provide clear communication, timely updates, and proactive problem-solving to ensure exceptional delivery and long-term satisfaction.
With a focus on transparency, integrity, and results, I help drive repeat business and growth by turning one-time projects into lasting relationships.
